Love that you are finding this space to create, process & make beauty - the secrets of the winding roads, and the great amen of it all. Thank you for courageously sharing and blessing us. Celebrating you!
Such depth and truth. It has been many years since I said, “I know which house is mine; it’s the one I always drive past”. In your writing I learn you know that feeling and am thrilled to learn you now feel undisplaced, settled. But still you share your experience of the world with freshness and grace. Thank you for sharing back to the world; we need more like you.
Beautiful words Bayley. Every drive to the airport and certain Sunday mornings still bring a small pang of sadness that our friends are far away now….however, I’m so grateful to hear you are feeling a settled spirit and get to live in the comfort of knowing your way home without something else telling you how to get there! I was just thinking today about scheduling our next visit and checking in. The gift of you and your words to the world are something I will always be thankful for.
Absolutely love your writing style and how you view the world, Bayley - - what an honor to be let in to what you're learning and how you're seeing God take you to new places...
Praising the Lord for that one precious degree He has given you~ 🙌🏽😌 and all the deep breaths & quiet (or maybe not so) that have given us your time & words. what a gift to hear the words in your heart flow out so filled with story & straight as an arrow with truth, all at the same time- timely words.
Prophetic~ a very “prepare the way” sweet spot. i see that John in you. ;)
I so hear u in how laura ingalls shared her books 🤣 tell me when u learn.
Eager for the continued arteest adventure ahead sister 🌟 ….YOU shine!
I'm staring at the walls letting the word "settled" seep deep into my bones for you... because I 'knew' a little girl a long while ago who longed for 'settled' in her spirit, and I can still feel the ache I felt not always knowing how to lead her there. Beyond grateful for the Spirit of God who led you the best way there - so present, so wise, so enduring. May your words continue to bring LIFE, or pose questions, or share pain, or offer beauty in the days to come, dear daughter. Oh, my love for you... endless! And mad proud.

You and Eric are such treasures to us, Amy. You’ve built us up and stuck with us through some wild seasons. Deeply grateful.

Wow Bayley! So powerfully worded! I feel the settling and unsettling altogether myself. I love you and I’m so proud of you!
